Office Drama Turns Brutal

I’ve heard of people getting on each other’s nerves when they work together 40 hours a week in an office but this is really something.

Is there no other way to handle conflict folks?   Was the phone call that irritating or the computer that hard to repair or what?   We don’t know details we just know someone got themselves stabbed.   They didn’t die apparently but the situation had quickly escalated out of control and there isn’t much we can say about it but it sure makes you think.

Anyway, like all the other cleanup scenes we have to take all the necessary precautions to prevent cross contamination and exposure to pathogens, bacteria and such possible contaminants. Blood cleanup must be done by professionally trained blood cleanup personnel in order to protect current and future inhabitants of a property as well as to ensure the safety of those cleaning blood scenes.

The Protective Gloves And Gear Have To Be Put On As Usual

Blood cleanup involves the removal and cleaning or disposal of items that have been contaminated with body fluids, blood, or tissue matter, but does not stop there. Those trained in blood cleaning are adept at tracking down and remediating areas that have been contaminated – areas that the untrained eye would not see. When a firearm is used, there is often as much biohazardous material that you cannot see as there is that is visible. For the safety of a blood cleanup technician, and of future inhabitants, it is most important that this biohazardous material be decontaminated as well.

Advanced Bio Treatment is the blood cleanup company that protects you and your family by doing the job with well-trained courteous employees. Whether the incident has occurred at your home, rental property or place of business, or industrial facility, you can trust our certified scene cleanup teams to do a thorough job while abiding by OSHA regulations. If you are a family friend or relative, we can work with you as an agent so the family is saved the hardship. Or if you will not be there to shield your loved ones, we will gladly handle that for you as much as possible by handling the paperwork by fax if you prefer.

If you need blood clean-up guidance, have questions about your payment options, which crime scene clean up procedures your current insurance policy covers or require our blood cleanup services immediately, give Advanced Bio Treatment a call at:800-295-1684.

Domestic Violence Never Ends Well

We Just Left Another Sad Situation

Our job is never boring at least that is one thing I can say but this has been one of the longest most difficult weeks ever.

A family argument in Georgia had left two people dead, whatever led to the dispute we sure don’t know but the guy was so disturbed and angry he shot his wife and then himself.

Domestic violence is never a good thing and if you know people who are going through it they need help before its too late.

ABT cleanup technicians are trained to be courteous, prompt and efficient as well as compassionate and understanding when dealing with family members.

This couple had two little children who were home when the fighting began and they are not anywhere near able to comprehend or understand this. Who knows what will happen to them. I sure hope they will be okay. Nothing we can say will bring back their parents.

Behind The Scenes Of A Cleanup Technician

As a cleanup tech we have to follow safety procedures to prevent contamination and exposure. This is not something that should be done by anyone who hasn’t been properly trained.

Blood cleanup must be done by professionally trained blood cleanup personnel in order to protect current and future inhabitants of a property as well as to ensure the safety of those cleaning blood scenes.

What’s It Like To Die Alone?

This Charlotte, North Carolina Man was Found After Ten Days

He was found alone in his bed.  His roommate was on a business trip and had returned after being out of the country for two weeks.

Apparently the 49 year old had suffered from gastrointestinal problems for years but had not been aware how serious his condition was.

He died of a bowel explosion, which most of us have never heard of or dealt with but does happen. This is a horrible death and very painful.

Unattended deaths are some of the saddest stories we come across.  Advanced Bio-Treatment comes prepared to clean, decontaminate, disinfect, deodorize, and return the home to its original state of cleanliness.

Unattended Death Can Be A Hazardous Situation

Most often it can contain blood, tissue, bodily fluids, urine, and feces all in a state of decomposition.  This can pose an extreme risk for untrained individuals as they can be exposed to infectious diseases. A single drop of decomposing bodily fluid can contain germs, bacteria, and active disease that will remain viable and dangerous for long periods of time.  These dangers can seep into and be absorbed by cloth, carpet, wood, flooring, sub flooring, in between walls, and ceilings carrying their pathogens with them.  In addition to the risk an untrained person undertakes when dealing with an unattended death, OSHA and the EPA have strict regulations on the collection and disposal to these types of hazardous material.  Not only does Advanced Bio Treatment have professionally trained technicians with specialized equipment to handle the scene of an unattended death, but we also handle the entire disposal for you.

To ensure proper decontamination of the scene, an experienced scene clean up service should be employed. Human feces, urine, and blood cleanup pose a significant risk to human health. Advanced Bio Treatment is well trained in EPA and OSHA regulations for biohazard cleaning.

Advanced Bio Treatment has experience in the decontamination and remediation of crime scenes, accident scenes, suicides and other unattended deaths. We will work with your insurance company to ensure that our biohazard cleanup services meets both your standards and theirs.
