The front door was partially open, the screen was slashed. John D. was stabbed multiple times. The drawers were ransacked, belongings scattered everywhere throughout the apartment. Was this a random robbery gone bad? Did the intruder expect there would be no one home when he broke in? Did he start by finding John D. in bed? Had there been a struggle? These were just a few of the questions the daughter had in addition to the shock and horror from finding her father. The mattress was saturated with blood. There’s no point in trying to salvage it. The Trip Ended In Tragedy This Year Every year four guys from Smyrna, GA took a fishing trip to a cabin by the lake which one of them owned. One of the men stayed behind while the others went on their usual all night fishing trip. When they returned they found him shot to death in the head. He had killed himself. The guys were all shocked and bewildered as this trip was something they all looked forward to every year. They had the job of calling his wife and family at home. The questions they had were nothing compared to what his wife had. How long had he been planning to do this? Why did he do it on the fishing trip? Johnson City Man Found Dead After Two weeks This is just part of the scene. Whatever the cause of death, the body decomposed to the point that there was a tremendous stench throughout the whole house. After several days a dead body will start to seep fluids and blood. This is a terrible sight for anyone to see, especially family. The family of this man had been away on vacation and he wasn’t found until they returned. There’s never enough words to comfort a person in these situations. All we can do is offer our sympathy and listen. We try to do our job as quickly as possible to return the home back to its original state.
