Stalked & Knifed Up

We were called to this home for a crime scene cleanup.

As you can see from the above picture the blood soaked into the carpet and layers of padding below.

Jane D. was living alone here as she had just relocated here for a new job.  Her parents were by the house while we were there cleaning.

Needless to say they were quite heartbroken at the loss of their daughter who was in the prime of her life.

As the story was told to us Jane D. had been trying to make new friends since moving here and she joined a few meetup groups and such.

She had a few friends at work and she was also taking night classes at a local college.

Apparently someone followed her home from school the night she was brutally murdered and we suspect she was sexually assaulted as well as mutilated, we were told her left breast had been cut off somehow.

No motive that anyone knows of, a senseless act by a sexual predator/murderer ends the 27 year old woman’s life.

We are very saddened at circumstances such as this.  The person who did this must certainly be one messed up dude.  The police are looking for clues that may tie him to some other sexual assaults and murders in the area over the past couple of years.  They took DNA samples from the victim as well as hair samples found on the floor.  I hear they have a pretty good success rate at catching the perpetrator if they get samples that can positively identify them.

Orlando Murder Suicide Cleanup

It has been a long week already. We have a few more jobs lined up so we will be on the road again when we finish up in Orlando.

I started working for Advanced Bio Treatment about six years ago.  The training was very thorough but still wasn’t enough to prepare me for some of the things I’ve seen over the years.

I won’t easily forget this scene.

We hear about people losing their minds and committing senseless murders on the news all the time.  We see the families being interviewed crying as they try to understand what happened and who did it.

This one there’s no question who did it and there probably isn’t much mystery.  The sad part is there is no family left to cry for each other, at least not from this household.

“Jim D.” was known to have a severe drinking problem that led to many domestic violence reports being filed against him.  The police had been to this house many times.  The story was usually the same, he got drunk at his favorite bar, came back home yelled at and hit his wife and sometimes would be passed out by the time the police got there.

The neighbors had made the calls a couple of times when they heard the screaming and yelling.  They feared for the family.  For whatever reason Mrs D. never left Jim D.  although it would seem she would be afraid to live with him after all he had done.

No one seems to know what set Jim D. off this last time as he got drunker than usual apparently.

This time he didn’t slap anyone around or yell or pass out.  This time he shot his wife and two kids point blank and then himself.  No witnesses to explain what happened, no apparent motive. No warnings that this was going to end this way. They all died bloody deaths here in this little house, blood everywhere.

We’re all heartbroken over this waste of lives.

You Just Can Not Take it with you!

The stories go on and on everyday at Advanced Bio Treatment

We are asked to share them with our readers to give you a little taste of what we do.

This one was both interesting and sad, for privacy reasons we will call him Jim D.   Around 80 years old and lived alone out in a little house in Mill Valley, California. Didn’t even have a telephone in his house.  Does the word “miser” mean anything to you?  (a person who hoards wealth and spends as little money as possible, from the dictionary)

Anyway. This old fella apparently didn’t get along with his family very well.  From what we were told some of them he hadn’t spoken to in years. He retired from the coal mines and had a pension so people said he wasn’t broke but lived like he was.  Some of the family that came by told us he never helped any of them with anything.  Sad, but apparently true.

So, is it any wonder when he fell down dead in his kitchen with an apparent heart attack that no one found him for a couple of weeks?

Decomposition and I mean of the worst kind had begun to settle in.

The place smells awful and his body well, lets just say its oozing out fluids and its a nasty sight.  I doubt this is how he planned the end to be.

It gets more interesting though.  Apparently “miser” Jim D. had hidden money all over the farm!  His daughter and grandkids were out at the house going through things and found money in all kinds of places.  Seems the more places they found it the more they kept looking.

He even had buried money in his tractor tires!  What the frick or as some would say WTF?

They were torn between hurt and anger, I’m thinking the anger will take over once the hurt leaves them.  Imagine, being so selfish you never bought your grandkids anything or helped your daughter when her power was being cut off and you had it in your power to?  Who the hell was he saving it for?  Well, as the old saying goes dude, you can’t take it with you.

Unattended Death Can Be A Hazardous Situation

Most often it can contain blood, tissue, bodily fluids, urine, and feces all in a state of decomposition.  This can pose an extreme risk for untrained individuals as they can be exposed to infectious diseases. A single drop of decomposing bodily fluid can contain germs, bacteria, and active disease that will remain viable and dangerous for long periods of time.

These dangers can seep into and be absorbed by cloth, carpet, wood, flooring, sub flooring, in between walls, and ceilings carrying their pathogens with them.  In addition to the risk an untrained person undertakes when dealing with an unattended death, OSHA and the EPA have strict regulations on the collection and disposal to these types of hazardous material.

Not only does Advanced Bio Treatment have professionally trained technicians with specialized equipment to handle the scene of an unattended death, but we also handle the entire disposal for you, don’t hesitate to give Advanced Bio Treatment a call!
