Last year, we had the Ice Bucket Challenge, sweeping across social media to become one of the most successful non-profit trends of the last decade. This year, there’s a new trend in town and it involves push-ups: 22 to be exact. The 22 Push-Up Challenge, lead by the global movement 22Kill, is on a mission to reach twenty-two million push-ups in order to bring awareness to the fact that 22 veterans, on average, commit suicide a year. Unlike the Ice Bucket Challenge, the 22 Push-Up Challenge is not looking for donations; their sole goal is to raise awareness in effort to get the number of veterans committing suicide down to zero per day.
The phenomenon has really taken off across social media, with tons of people joining in on the fun, including several celebrities like actors John Krasinski, Chris Evans, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Professional athletes are also taking on this challenge, like NFL star J.J. Watts.

ABT Supports Our Veterans
We at ABT are proud to give back a small fraction of the enormity of what our veterans give to us. We support our veterans and also our active military personnel, and we support non-profit organizations like K9s for Warriors who dedicate their lives and resources to veterans – because no veteran should fall through the cracks of the country he or she served. Because no veteran should be forgotten or neglected by the country he or she put his life on the line for. Because 22 lost veterans each day is 22 too many.
We are Advanced Bio Treatment. We are here for you 24 hours every day of the year, and we take emergency calls and work with your insurance company. Should you need our suicide cleanup services, please call us at 800-295-1684.
