Advanced Bio Treatment responded to an emergency cleanup referral request from an EMT assisting the family in their traumatic hardship of losing both of their children at the same time in a double homicide.

The main assumption is the horrible event was a drug deal gone wrong. The victims were beat and shot in an apartment complex in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. The gunshots were heard and called in by potential witnesses but no one knew exactly where the incident occurred, which gave the bodies plenty of time to start decomposing, smelling, attracting bugs and leaking bodily fluids from different orifices of the deceased body.

Unfortunately these types of situations happen all the time in rural or urban areas such as Baltimore, Maryland. In fact, just this September, there have been 18 reported homicides in the Baltimore area alone! That averages to almost one a day in just one city of America. Can you imagine what the daily homicide statistics are for the entire continent of the United States?

Advanced Bio Treatment received the cleanup referral request call around 3:30 p.m. in one of our eastern service locations, responded to the call immediately and arrived on scene in about 3 hours. That’s because we understand the stress our clients feel when faced with tragic situations such as homicides, suicides and unattended deaths. The sooner our decontamination team reaches the scene, the better, because crime and trauma scenes become more hazardous the longer they sit unattended.

When we show up, it’s go time. Advanced Bio Treatment technicians are handpicked for their extreme attention to detail, professionalism, empathy and the ability to be fast, efficient and uphold client confidentiality.
