San Francisco, California was where our next job took us.

 

We received a call from the mother of a man who was shot and killed over a cell phone. That sounds pretty insane but it’s that time of the year where everyone is trying to buy perfect Christmas gifts for their family, which sometimes leads to violent fights, murders and brutal circumstances.

The mother explained to us when she called in that her son was attempting to sell a few cell phones over the internet and that he had various people in and out of their home they shared. They were brand new phones and he was trying to get the most amount of money he could to buy Christmas presents for his family. Apparently he met the wrong person the previous day because sadly he ended up dead over the non-negotiable price.

The mother told us that she was out shopping when her son was home alone. She knew he was trying really hard to sell the phones and figured someone would be there when she got home. When she pulled up she walked in the front door and found her son face down in his own puddle of blood. The mother explained to us that she was terrified but still managed to call 911.

We had the knowledge that the poor guy was shot seven times before he fell to his death so we knew it was going to be a disgusting blood bath in the home. When we arrived to the home and saw the scene it was as horrible as we expected. There was puddles and puddles of blood all over the floor and blood splatter on the wall behind where the shooting occurred. There was a couple of electronics with traces of blood on them and the lamp in the corner was completely dripping with blood. It never gets easier having to walk in on the aftermath but ABT holds a lot of pride in our work and the fact we are helping people at the same time.

We had to dispose of the lamp and a few rugs the mother had as decoration. They were so badly stained with blood she gave us permission to safely and carefully remove then dispose of the contaminated items. We then carefully sanitized and deodorized all areas that had any trace amount of blood. Once we were completed you wouldn’t guess there was terrible, messy murder scene there just a few hours prior.
