The Eventful Morning
Ok, So I started my day off with the feelings that it was just going to be another normal day in the waste and death clean-up business. Then I remembered there are no “normal” days in my job and bam! “Holy Shit!” I said. I mean literally, holy shit it was. Picture, if you can stomach it, a pile of urine and feces 2 feet high smothered and covered in toilet paper, that managed to not disintegrate mind you! What I hoped I was not seeing was a bucket of feces next to the toilet kindly accompanying the poop mountain. Did I mention a little blood smothered in there as well? Yep, just another “normal” day in the hoarding clean-up business!
Number one, I am a “have to see it to believe it” kind of guy and this job is always surprising me! I love not knowing what I am walking into. Let me tell you, the clean-up business sure does keep work interesting!

I really did think no one could stand to live in conditions with feces, urine, blood, flies, bacteria, germs and definitely some kind of rodents running around. But they can! And they do! Like it is clean, safe and okay or “normal” to live in.
