In the fast paced world we live in people see all kinds of things happen and just say to themselves “oh well” and life goes on. Sometimes you have to wonder if we see so much that we are just getting hardened to it all and accepting everything as normal. Its not really normal to experience a lot of blood and guts folks. But, its part of the job we do, so we go on or we wouldn’t be able to deal with it.
I just think to myself sometimes how simple life used to be. People seemed to like each other, to care about each other but sometimes I just don’t get that people care much anymore and that is sad.
It is sad for the victims. It is sad for the families left behind. I almost say it is sad for the perps but I can’t quite bring myself to say that. I just can’t feel too sorry for people who go around deliberately causing pain to others. Sorry, but I think they deserve to suffer.
Is that mean of me? I don’t think so. After all, who can bring back the life of a loved one that is lost in a criminal act? And who takes care of the victim’s family? Sadly, not much seems to be done to help the victim’s family in these senseless crimes.
Sad to say in this cleanup job we don’t have a lot of details as to what happened to cause the horrible scene. We know someone died a death in the heat of the moment so it wasn’t accidental or suicide. Someone killed another human being for some unknown reason that is supposed to make sense and be forgotten? Right? Wrong, I don’t think anyone really forgets or gets over this type of crime.
Don’t you want to enjoy living your life as long as you can without worrying about someone snuffing it out before you are ready? I do. I think we all want a little less worry about this type of thing. I mean, look outside its a beautiful day, who wants to think about MURDER?
Unreal. Evil. Demonic. Shameful. Whatever you want to call it if the shoe fits!! Sad but true we are getting a bit callous about life and death in this country.
