This is NOT your brain on Drugs
Folks we all remember the commercial with the egg frying in the skillet saying “this is your brain on drugs” don’t we? This graphic and horrific picture is not your brain on drugs. This, my friends, is your brain from a self-inflicted shot to the head.
Sadly, this Albany, New York man decided to end his life with a blow to the head that literally sent his brain spilling all over the house.
What led to it exactly we will never know for sure. It appears as if there were issues with the other tenants that could have contributed but I’m sure there was more to it. A couple of the neighbors had some slanderous remarks to make while we were working.
I’m not sure how this huge section of brain managed to land the way that it did. Handling this situation is a little tricky. We have procedures that are in place that have to be followed for removal and cleanup of body tissue, blood, and bodily fluids.
We encourage family members not to be around when we are doing this type of job. It is just too traumatic. Can you imagine? It is difficult enough to deal with. Talk about a reality check. Looking at this brain reminds me just how fragile we human beings are.
Sadly, this incident occurred smack in the middle of the holiday season when families are usually supposed to be enjoying a great time together.
Perhaps financial difficulty, marital or job stress contributed? Whatever the reason suicide is a terrible way to end your days on earth. The family that is left behind has many unanswered questions they are likely to never know the answer to.
ABT Cleanup Technicians Are Trained To Be Efficient And Careful In These Situations
Blood, harmful pathogens, and bacteria can spread germs quickly. Blood cleanup must be done by professionally trained blood cleanup personnel in order to protect current and future inhabitants of a property as well as to ensure the safety of those cleaning blood scenes.
Blood cleanup involves the removal and cleaning or disposal of items that have been contaminated with body fluids, blood, or tissue matter, but does not stop there. Those trained in blood cleaning are adept at tracking down and re-mediating areas that have been contaminated – areas that the untrained eye would not see. When a firearm is used, there is often as much bio-hazardous material that you cannot see as there is that is visible. For the safety of a blood cleanup technician, and of future inhabitants, it is most important that this bio-hazardous material is decontaminated as well.
Advanced Bio Treatment is the blood cleanup company that protects you and your family by doing the job with well-trained courteous employees. Whether the incident has occurred at your home, rental property or place of business, or industrial facility, you can trust our certified scene cleanup teams to do a thorough job while abiding by OSHA regulations. If you are a family friend or relative, we can work with you as an agent so the family is saved the hardship. Or if you will not be there to shield your loved ones, we will gladly handle that for you as much as possible by handling the paperwork by fax if you prefer.
