Too Young To Kill

16 year old John D. will be tried as an adult for killing his father in his sleep. The two apparently had been having problems getting along for months. It appeared that John D. had planned this out. This was clearly not a case of heat of anger or crime of passion.

From what the police were saying the father had a good reputation in the community was a hard worker, dedicated family man. His wife had passed a few months ago of a sudden heart attack. This was very hard on both John D. and his father but who would guess that it would have ever come to this.

Becoming a single parent/widower/single man suddenly has to be a hard role to fill. Did John D perhaps blame his father in some way for the death of his mother even though that wasn’t the case? I have to wonder as I clean and look around the house at the pictures of the family on ski trips, campouts, etc., It would appear they had everything going for them.

Many of the situations we see are results of drug abuse, violent crimes, gross negligence. That certainly WAS NOT the case here. This was a clean cut kid from a well educated moral familyl

What Went Wrong???

If there is any question I ask myself on this job over and over it is that one. What went wrong??? What led to this? Sometimes it is very obvious what was wrong by looking at the living conditions but when you see something like this it is puzzling to say the least.

Personal feelings and questions aside, the job still has to be done regardless. This is a job no matter what the circumstances are or how it makes one of our team feel. Some team members react differently than I do, being a deep thinker and all that tends to make me analyze these situations. Some are very empathetic but just don’t let their minds think on the situation for long. I guess that is one of the hardest parts about doing the job is letting go of it once its over.

Biohazard materials take the form of organic matter and blood, airborne pathogens, and caustic chemicals which pose a health hazard. In the aftermath of any trauma, whether it is an accident or violent crime or the discovery of an unattended death, there exist bio hazards which require the attention of the trained professionals of a bio hazard cleanup service. Advanced Bio Treatment can perform site remediation services which will return the area to its original condition. Airborne bio hazards enter the respiratory tract into the eyes, nose, and throat and will remain dormant or become active in a short time such as anthrax and tuberculosis.

To ensure proper decontamination of the scene, an experienced scene clean up service should be employed. Human feces, urine, and blood cleanup pose a significant risk to human health. Advanced Bio Treatment is well trained in EPA and OSHA regulations for biohazard cleaning.
