A Promising Ending
I’m so excited Jerry sent me on this cleanup today! He remembers interviewing me long ago and discussing my interests, solving mysteries and law enforcement, which is why he chose me for this job! Anyways, this was a case of an abduction from a vehicle. Not a lot of blood, but tons of fingerprints and fingerprint dust! This is why we were called in; we are not only blood cleanup experts, we can clean up fingerprints and the dust after the investigators have completed their search.
Having a crime occur at your home or business is very stressful. To make matters worse, crime scene investigators will cover the crime scene with fingerprint dust as part of their crime scene investigation. Cleaning up fingerprint dust is a difficult process and, more importantly, needs to be cleaned up immediately to prevent the fingerprint dust from spreading around the premises.
This scene in Canton, Ohio was different than our usual in-home or in-office settings of fingerprint cleanup. This cleanup was in a small SUV in which a young woman was assaulted and abducted. Luckily, the crime had witnesses and was reported quickly enough that there is a big chance this young woman can be saved. I absolutely love responding to these types of scenes because the crime scene investigation is so detailed and interesting. It’s amazing how they solve crimes and even find and save victims from fingerprints, blood, or the smallest of details. The investigators have enough information from this fingerprint-filled SUV to find and solve this abduction!
