Chicago Mom’s Bad Choice
The horrific scene above is only a part of what we found in the Chicago apartment. Jill D. was frequently out of town for her work which meant she would have to leave her four year old son with a caretaker occasionally.
Jill D. had been dating a man for about six months who seemed to really like her son. She started letting him sleep over and get to know her son.
Her trust was misplaced, obviously. She left her son in his care for two days while she traveled to Atlanta for business.
She returned to find her son had been beaten to death and left alone in the apartment. Her boyfriend was nowhere to be found. He had apparently lost his temper or something where the situation escalated out of control.
Her son was only four years old and had no chance to survive against this monster. Police and FBI are searching for the missing boyfriend.
Our hearts are broken over this and other similar situations, just when you think that it couldn’t get any worse we see something like this.
Jill D. has enough emotional turmoil, shock and dismay to even begin to know what to do next. The last problem she needs is to worry about cleanup, and even when the place is returned to its normal state her life will never be the same. She is talking about relocating.
Blood cleanup must be done by professionally trained blood cleanup personnel in order to protect current and future inhabitants of a property as well as to ensure the safety of those cleaning blood scenes.
Blood cleanup involves the removal and cleaning or disposal of items that have been contaminated with body fluids, blood, or tissue matter, but does not stop there. Those trained in blood cleaning are adept at tracking down and remediating areas that have been contaminated – areas that the untrained eye would not see. When a firearm is used, there is often as much biohazardous material that you cannot see as there is that is visible. For the safety of a blood cleanup technician, and of future inhabitants, it is most important that this biohazardous material be decontaminated as well.
