It is said by experts that there are two basic motives for homicide. Instrumental homicides are typically motivated by financial gain, or other forms of gain. Expressive homicides, are more impulsive, emotional, the result of anger, resentment, public humiliation,and rage.
A recent cleanup job ABT was hired to do perhaps was a result of public humiliation of being fired or anger at a boss or coworker. We may never know for sure.
We see the aftermath. The blood spatters on the restaurant kitchen floors, between the tiles, on the counter, the refrigerator. What possessed someone to come in to the restaurant and stab one of the employees remains a mystery to us.
Our job is to cleanup the crime scene and restore the kitchen back to normal.
Statistics indicate that most murders are committed by men
Wives that are killed by their husbands are often due to being discovered cheating or even after the separation. A woman who has left a bad marriage may be in more danger than ever. The majority of female victims of murder were murdered by their past or present male partner.
Wives may kill husbands if they feel there is no other way out of the bad relationship. Women who kill are often found to be accessories to a male partner or the mastermind behind the act.
Crimes of passion usually refers to murder committed in rage, heat of the moment, “temporary insanity.”
Cold and calculated murders that are planned fall under First Degree Murder. This also includes murders that occur during kidnapping, robberies, or arson.
It is said that homicide is directed toward the outward world, as opposed to suicide which is directed inward. Sigmund Freud theorized that the desire to kill others is also the desire to kill the self.
Some speculate that a criminal mindset is based on entitlement. The mindset behind actually pulling the trigger, or stabbing with a knife is based on entitlement.
Trying to figure out why horrific murders are committed we question what purpose the killer had in mind. To think the thought is one thing, to act upon it, is a result of self interest and the entitlement mentality.
Whatever the reason behind brutal murder, the aftermath is not good. The cleanup is too much for a family member or friend.
