A Trenton, NJ couple had only been married about a month.

We were told that they were getting ready to go to dinner. The wife was taking a shower and heard a loud bang. She got out of the shower and found her husband lying in the floor. He had shot himself with no warning to her.

When ABT cleanup technicians arrived at the scene she was still in the home, crying and giving details of the day to the police. She was in a state of shock yet calmly recounted the events of the couple’s day.

She said they had a quiet breakfast and then went shopping for cars. Her husband had wanted to trade in their used Toyota for a brand new Corvette. Apparently, when they applied he was denied the loan due to bad credit.

She said the rest of the afternoon he apologized over and over to her, was very sullen but she didn’t think anything of it as they got ready to go to dinner with friends as they had planned all week.

Suicide is hard for everyone.

The loved ones left behind have a mind full of unexplained and unanswered questions. This situation was not unique in the hurt and the disbelief the wife felt at the drastic choice her husband had made.

I suppose one of the hardest things in life to face is a suicide. No warning, no discussing or trying to solve the problem. If you ask me, suicide is a selfish decision to what is likely a temporary problem.
